10. Summary of the thesis results:
Both Vietnam and China are multi-ethnic countries with many ethnic groups living together. One characteristic of ethnic minorities in both countries is that they often live in clusters in mountainous regions, maintaining regular contact through intermarriage, trade, visiting relatives and friends, and religious activities. These relationships have been positively impacted in recent years by economic development, further facilitating social relations between ethnic minorities in border areas and contributing to the friendly relations between the two countries. Of the four important factors profoundly influencing ethnic minority relations in the Sino-Vietnamese border region—customs and traditions, religion and beliefs, the policies of both countries, and the economy—ethnic relations and ethnic customs and traditions show the most significant mutual influence.
Furthermore, national policies, economies, the level of border region development and construction, the living standards of border residents, the relationship with other cross-border ethnic groups, trade activities, and the process of industrialization and modernization can easily impact the stability of cross-border ethnic minorities. For China and Vietnam, building ethnic tourism villages to expand border region relations, develop the border region economy, and simultaneously preserve and promote the unique culture of ethnic minorities is a viable option. The "Two Corridors, One Belt" framework creates opportunities to develop the tourism potential of Yunnan Province in China and northern Vietnam.
Both China and Vietnam are led by communist parties and share a common ideology; therefore, a friendly and harmonious relationship is necessary for economic development. Their similar socio-economic development models further necessitate increased exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. The relationship between China and Vietnam should be one of equality, mutual benefit, friendly neighborliness, active cooperation, and shared development.
11. Practical applications:
From a cultural perspective, this thesis attempts to synthesize and analyze a wealth of information on cross-border ethnic relations between Yunnan Province, China, and Ha Giang and Lao Cai Provinces, Vietnam. It aims to offer insights into the significance of cooperation and the feasibility of exploiting tourism resources in the border region within the framework of the "Two Corridors, One Economic Belt" cooperation. The thesis hopes that the predicted trends in relations between ethnic groups in the Sino-Vietnamese border region, especially tourism cooperation, will become a reality.
12. Future research directions:
This thesis examines the relationship between ethnic minorities in the Sino-Vietnamese border region through cultural exchange. We hope to continue our in-depth research and achieve further results in this area.

Vietnam and China are the multi-ethnic countries with lots of ethnic groups living together. One of the characteristics of compatriots of ethnic regions in two countries is that they often live into separate zones and the interlacement between ethnic groups in mountainous areas. And keep the relationship in some ways, such as marriage, business, visit relatives and friends, religious activities you so on. For recent years, these relations have promoted positively the economic development and made the social relations between ethnic regions in the border area develop favorably, even they have influenced on friendly relations development of the two countries. There are four important factors that affect the social relations between ethnic areas of China and Vietnam, rather are customs, religion, national policies, and economic respectively. One of the four factors, it is most obvious that customs and the social relations between ethnic migration in the border area interact.
In addition, national policies, economic, the Development and construction, quality of lifein the border area, some trade activities, industrialand modernization process… there are easy to affect stability of cross-border ethnic groups.
For Vietnam and China, an ethnic tourist village should be built in order to broaden the relation of border area and to develop the economy of the border area, at the same time it can preserve and maintain the unique cultures of ethnic areas. The framework “2 corridors 1 belt” creates an opportunity to maintain the tourist potentialities of Yunnan, China and the North of Vietnam.
Vietnam and China are led by communist parties, and have same ideology, thus the probability of separating the relations of two countries is very small. In the next time, China – Vietnam should have a friendly and harmonious relationship to develop the economies. The similar model of socio-economic development requires two countries to increase the exchanging and cooperation activities.
