Simultaneously, the thesis assesses and analyzes the current state of community-based tourism development in Ong Ho islet, by analyzing its strengths and existing limitations that need to be addressed. Through this analysis, it develops a suitable development strategy for community-based tourism in Ong Ho islet, An Giang province. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders involved in community-based tourism. From this, the thesis proposes solutions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of tourism development, providing the locality with a sustainable direction for community-based tourism development.

The thesis has contributed to demonstrate the literature review and the practice of tourism development based on the community in Ong Ho Island, An Giang. Meanwhile, the thesis has also evaluated and analyzed the real situation of tourism development based on the community in Ong Ho Island by its strengths and the weaknesses. Thanks to that, the thesis has created the suitable strategies for the community - based tourism in Ong Ho Island, An Giang. In addition, the thesis has pointed out the roles and responsibilities of different sides when they take part in the community - based tourism. Last but not least, the thesis has proposed the suitable solutions and suggestions to improve the effectiveness of tourism development which aims to orient and develop the community - based tourism sustainably.
