This thesis affirms the role and position of religious beliefs, especially ancestor worship, in the life of the Vietnamese people in general and the Tay people in particular.Contributing to the enrichment of Vietnam's national cultural identity, this thesis analyzes the Tay people's conceptions of the universe, worldview, spiritual aspirations, and rules of conduct within their families and communities. From this analysis, the thesis summarizes the current state of Tay worship practices, highlighting both positive and negative aspects, and proposes solutions to promote and preserve their values ​​in the present era.

The thesis affirms the role and position of the worship beliefs, especially, the worship of ancestor beliefs of Vietnames and the Tay people in particular. This is enriches the variety of the national cultrial Vietnames. The thesis also analyzes the concept of universe, the world view, the spiritual aspirations and the rules of behavior in Tay's families and community. Then, the general description of the Tay's ancestor worship types with both it's advantages and disadvantages are pointed out and a good solution is offered to conserve and improve the best ones, preserve it's value.
