Based on theoretical research and the current status of parents' concepts and behavioral strategies towards their children's behaviors in preschool age at Just Kids 3 Kindergarten - Hanoi and Yen Thinh Kindergarten - Yen Bai, the study shows that parents want their children to be independent at an average level. There is a consensus in the concept of good and bad behaviors in children, however, the priority of behaviors has changed, nowadays parents emphasize behaviors that show independence in their children more than behaviors that show obedience. Parents' concepts are closely related to behavioral strategies towards their children. There are 4 basic behavioral strategies: democratic behavior, authoritarian behavior, indulgent behavior and free behavior. Nowadays, parents often apply democratic behavior in educating their children. Parents' concepts and behavioral strategies are influenced by the following factors: children's temperament, family educational traditions, and quality of married life.
