10. Summary of thesis results:

Based on theoretical research, the thesis systematized the theoretical basis of patients' need for psychological support and concluded as follows: Patients' need for psychological support isThe wishes and demands of patients with physical illnesses, to have access to psychological support activities in the hospital, to receive psychological support, emotional release, to receive counseling to solve problems related to difficulties in the treatment of physical illnesses, to change behavior to stabilize, maintain health, life and improve the effectiveness of treatment.

We have studied the factors affecting the need for psychological support of patients, the results are: gender; patient awareness; anxiety, depression; communication with medical staff; illness are factors affecting the need for psychological support of patients, in which the factor of patient awareness of psychological support activities, awareness of the importance of psychological support has a strong influence on the need for psychological support of patients. Patient awareness and anxiety, depression are positively correlated with the need for psychological support of patients.

Using the patient support needs survey, it shows that patients have many needs that need support. However, with the current context and resources at Thai Binh General Hospital, it is not possible to meet all of the patients' needs.

Thereby, we also make recommendations to promote psychological support activities for patients and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment at Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis are a useful reference for medical facilities, researchers, lecturers... to provide appropriate solutions to help promote psychological support for patients and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment.

12. Further research directions:

If we have the conditions and time, we will research the topic more deeply on patient psychology and patient support needs with a larger and more diverse number of research subjects.

Based on theoretical research the thesis has systematized the basis of reasoning about the need for psychological support of patients the findings have been identified as follows:The need for psychological support of patients is the desire of patients with physical illness, accessing to psychological support in the hospital, psychological support, negative emotions relief, counseling to solve problems related to the treatment of physical illness, behavioral change to stabilize maintain health, and improve lifestyles.

After having researched the factors impacting the need for psychological support of patients, we have found that: sex; Patient awareness; Anxiety, depression; Exchange with medical staff; Disease problems are factors that affect the psychological support needs of the patient. In which Patient awareness about the psychological support strongly influences the patient's psychological support needs.

Awareness about the psychological support, anxiety and depression ofthepatientare strongly correlated with the patient's need for psychological support.

Surveying the patient support needs, the thesis shows that patients have many needs to be supported. However, with the current context and resources at Thai Binh Hospital, it is not possible to meet all the needs of patients.

Thereby, the thesis also gives some recommendations in order to enhance Psychological support for patients and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment in the health establishment.

The results of the thesis are expected to be a useful reference for the health establishments, researchers, and lecturers devising suitable solutions to enhance psychological support for patients and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment in the health establishment.

If we have more time, we will conduct further research on the Patient psychology and the patient's need for support with a larger and more diverse body of research.
