Based on theoretical research and the current status of building psychological counseling processes for drug addicts at the Social Labor Education Center, the research topic examines the causes of drug addiction, the processes and forms of psychological counseling at Center X, the subjective and objective factors affecting the counseling process for drug addicts at Center X. In which, the determination of drug addicts to quit, the support of relatives and the professionalism and qualifications of the counselor are the factors that have the strongest impact on the process of psychological counseling for drug addicts. At the same time, measures are proposed to improve the quality of psychological counseling for drug addicts.

The research results of the thesis are a useful reference for training institutions in general to develop psychological counseling procedures for drug addicts at centers in general and rehabilitation centers in particular.
