Based on theoretical research and the current status of self-assessment of students at the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the research topic examines the current status of students' self-assessment through specific aspects: Self-assessment of physical fitness, self-assessment of learning, self-assessment of family, self-assessment of social communication, self-assessment of emotions, self-assessment of future orientation. In which, the educational style of parents, gender, ... are some of the factors affecting the self-assessment of high school students. The research results show that students at the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi self-assess at a fairly high level. In which, self-assessment of school-future and family is the highest, self-assessment of physical fitness, social communication and emotions is at an average level. At the same time, the topic also proposes measures to contribute to improving self-assessment of students at the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The research results of the thesis will be the basis for families, schools, and authorities to have appropriate educational measures for this age group, and at the same time help children to make correct and appropriate self-assessments, creating conditions for them to build healthy personalities, contributing to the success of the country's industrialization and modernization.
