11. Summary of thesis results: Love and sex are fundamental human issues, and also extremely old themes in art, including cinema. They reflect human nature and are constantly changing to adapt to new forms of human existence. Therefore, studying the themes of love and sex in modern cinema is a way to understand modern man. Through the three films chosen for study, we see that through cinema, from various perspectives, artists have conveyed to viewers the issues of modern man. The films delve into the deepest, hidden corners of each person. Thanks to cinema, they expose and reveal, in a raw and unadorned way, the bad things within each individual… viewers may experience certain shocks, but then they must confront them, reflect, and develop a more tolerant view of life. Every film industry faces the major challenge of depicting love and sex in a way that avoids vulgarity, obscenity, or even depravity, while simultaneously expanding the emotional range of viewers and contributing to the protection of societal moral values. For humans, sex is no longer just a basic instinct; it also contributes to self-improvement and the expression of one's own issues. Sex always has a cultural aspect. As a seventh art form benefiting from the achievements of other art forms, beyond its function of entertainment and business, it clearly plays a crucial role in shaping society's lifestyle. Therefore, the creativity of artists who make new discoveries and innovations is essential to create works that contribute to education, guide viewers, predict and correct misguided thinking, and bring people closer together, fostering genuine love and creating balance and harmony. True love is always selfless; otherwise, it is sometimes based on fleeting emotions.

12. Practical applications: (if any) Sex is a theme explored extensively in many art forms. Film, in particular, has its own approach, aiming for a humane and artistic portrayal. Therefore, although the chosen topic for this study is limited, it is hoped that Vietnamese cinema will not use sex as a tool to attract viewers, but rather, through sex, speak about human life and the experiences of people.
