The thesis systematizes the theoretical basis of some concepts related to the topic "The problem of child abuse on Vietnamese television today". The position, role and responsibility of the press, specifically television, in the work of propaganda to prevent and combat child abuse.
Based on the study of television programs on child abuse broadcast on “Chuyen Dong 24h” (VTV1), “Television for Children” (VTV1) and “Good Evening” (VTC14), the thesis draws out the characteristics, successes and limitations of this content on the survey sources. From there, it gives some suggestions to improve the quality of communication on child abuse prevention and control on Vietnamese television today.
