9. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis examines theoretical issues concerning information access points in library information activities in general and in university libraries in particular. Specifically, the author explores the concept of an access point; information access points in library operations; the role of information access points in information organization and retrieval; factors affecting the quality of information access points; requirements for information access points; and criteria for evaluating the quality of information access points. In practice, the thesis summarizes the functions and tasks of university libraries in Hanoi; the characteristics of information needs of users at university libraries in Hanoi; and the significance of information access points for university libraries in Hanoi. Specifically, the author conducted a thorough and comprehensive study of the current state of information access points in university libraries in Hanoi; the tools supporting the creation of these access points; the current state of their application in organizing and retrieving information; and the factors influencing these access points in Hanoi's university libraries. The study also evaluated the quality of these access points through surveys of users and library staff. Based on this, the thesis presented observations on the advantages and limitations of organizing information access points in Hanoi's university libraries. Finally, the thesis provided a system of solutions to improve the quality of information access points and their effectiveness in information retrieval at Hanoi's universities within the context of credit-based education, enhancing self-learning and research capabilities for users.

The thesis was a research about access point in information-library activities in general and university library in particular. The definition of access points, the role of them in organizing and retrieving information, impacting factors and criterias of evaluating the quality of access points, and the requirements for them were discussed.Practically, the author figured out the functions and missions of university libraries in general, the characteristics of user's need, the meaning of access points with university libraries in Hanoi. Especially, the situation of information access points in university libraries in Hanoi, the engine supporting the establishment of information access points, the application of information access points in organizing and retrieving information, and the factors impacting information access points in university libraries in Hanoi were researched comprehensively and insightfully by examining librarians and users.Thenforth, the author commented about the advantages and shortcomings of organizing access points in university libraries in Hanoi.Finally, a list of solutions of improving the quality of access points and the effect of access points for studying and studying in the universities in Hanoi were recommended.
