The study contributes to systematizing the theoretical basis of domestic violence, enriching the theory of social work in general and enriching the theoretical basis of concepts, perceptions and thoughts on the issue of domestic violence in general and the issue of women being abused in marriage in particular.

The study also sheds light on the correctness of applying social work methods to prevent and reduce domestic violence, especially the consultation method. Thereby, the topic will highlight the role of professional social workers in counseling women who are victims of domestic violence. On that basis, recommendations are made to improve the quality of counseling for women who are victims of domestic violence in general and women who are victims of domestic violence who are clients of CSAGA and to replicate the center's counseling model in other areas.

The thesis contributes to supplementing learning resources and serves as a reference for social work students on issues related to domestic violence in general and violence against women in marriage in particular.

The thesis also confirms the correctness of the application of methods of social work in the prevention and reduction of domestic violence particularly in counseling methods. Thereby, the thesis will highlight the role of the social work professional in counseling for women with domestic violence.
