This thesis presents the socio-political and ideological prerequisites for the formation of the life philosophy of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen school.

The thesis continues to analyze the philosophy of life of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen school with two typical contents: the philosophy of Buddha in the heart and the philosophy of engagement with the world, through the most representative figures of this Zen lineage, the three patriarchs (Tran Nhan Tong, Phap Loa, and Huyen Quang).

From there, the thesis highlights some values ​​of the Zen school's philosophy of life that have historical significance for the Đại Việt nation at that time and for Vietnam in general.

11. Practical applications:

This thesis can serve as a reference for research and teaching in Philosophy, Religious Studies, and History related to the history of Vietnamese Buddhist thought, specifically Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism during the Tran Dynasty.

12. Future research directions:

This topic could be further studied in greater depth from the perspective of the philosophical and humanistic ideas of each work or each representative thought of the three patriarchs of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Buddhism during the Tran Dynasty; or further expanded to relate the philosophical and humanistic values ​​to the potential contribution of Vietnamese Buddhism in the current process of integration and globalization.
