The thesis presents the political, social and ideological premises for the formation of the philosophy of life of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect.

The thesis continues to analyze the philosophy of life of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect with two typical contents: the philosophy of Buddha in the heart and the philosophy of entering the world through the most typical representatives of this Zen sect, the three patriarchs (Tran Nhan Tong, Phap Loa and Huyen Quang).

From there, the thesis presents some values ​​of the Zen philosophy of life that have historical significance for the contemporary Dai Viet people and for Vietnam in general.
