10. Summary of the thesis results:

Domestic violence exists in many families in Phu Giao district, Binh Duong province; however, the level of violence is not high and is showing a downward trend over time.

Most children from families experiencing domestic violence show a lack of love, safety, and sharing within their homes. Children in violent families tend to have fewer positive feelings towards their families; negative behaviors towards their families predominate over positive ones. Children in violent families have more negative perceptions, emotions, and behaviors towards their families compared to children in non-violent families.

Children in violent families suffer from low self-esteem and have a low opinion of themselves in society and within their own families. They exhibit many negative self-images such as low self-esteem and a desire to be someone else. They also engage in many negative behaviors that can be dangerous to themselves, such as substance abuse, participation in dangerous activities, suicidal thoughts, and even attempted suicide. Compared to children in non-violent families, children in violent families have more negative perceptions, emotions, and behaviors towards their families and themselves.

The cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of children's attitudes towards family and themselves in families experiencing violence are correlated, but not necessarily strongly.

The love, care, and sharing that parents provide to their children influence the perceptions, emotions, and behaviors of children in families experiencing domestic violence, both domestically and personally. In addition, other factors such as daily parental role models and punishment also influence the perceptions, emotions, and behaviors of children in families experiencing domestic violence, although this factor has a less significant impact.

Domestic violence situation in PhuGiao District, Binh Duong Province has existed in many homes, but the level of violence is not high and has a downward trend over time.

Most of the children in families with suggested violence that they lack in love, safety and sharing. They had little positive emotions for their family and the negative behavior on the family prevails over the positive one. They have awareness, emotion and behavior on the family more negative than children in families without violence.

Children in families with violence are not confident about themselves and underestimating their position in society and their own family. They had more negative feeling toward themselves, such as self-esteem, like to be someone else. They had more negative behavior which can be dangerous for themselves such as: using of stimulants, joining in dangerous games and intending to commit suicide or even ever suicide. Their cognition, emotions and behavior on the families and themselves are more negative than children in families without violence.

The aspects of cognition, emotion and behavior on the families and themselves of that children are correlated with each other but not completely tight.

Love, the caring and the sharing of parents for their children are the factors that affect cognition, feeling and behavior of children in families with violence on the family and themselves.
