- The study explores the formation and development of the worship of Tong Hau goddess as mother at the Ninh Cuong Temple (Truc Phu village, Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province) as well as the status of Tong Hau worship within the beliefs of Goddess of Vietnamese.
- Findings indicate that the worship of Tong Hau as a Mother Goddess is a popular belief in Nam Dinh. Tong Hau was worshiped and respected by the village community in Nam Dinh province, and it has an important role in the religious life of local people. Examining the practices of worship to her also shed light into the cultural history of population living along the coast and Northern Delta of Vietnam.
