10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis studies the current situation, evaluates the successes and limitations of population policy communication activities on radio in the Northern Delta provinces (through research in 3 provinces: Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, and Ha Nam), and proposes solutions to contribute to improving the quality of population policy communication on radio in the Northern Delta provinces in the future.

This thesis clarifies the theoretical basis of population policy communication and the role of radio broadcasting in communicating population policy.

This thesis limits its research to the current state of population policy communication on radio in the Northern Delta region (including: Provincial Radio and Television Stations, District Radio and Television Stations, and commune radio stations in the three provinces of Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, and Ha Nam). The research period is within a three-year timeframe (from 2015 to 2017).

To complete this thesis, the author employed the method of researching secondary documents.

The research involves studying relevant documents; documents on the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and laws regarding the role of the press in general, and radio in particular, in communicating population policies; statistical methods, analysis, synthesis, and sociological surveys; and drawing scientific conclusions that are appropriate and necessary for the research topic.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis contribute to overcoming limitations and promoting the media's effective communication of population policies, helping the Party and State achieve their set population policy goals; and improving the quality of population policy communication by the media in the future.

This thesis is a valuable reference for journalism and media schools and anyone interested in this topic.

Summary of the findings of the thesis: The main purpose of thesis is investigating the pros and cons of mass communications of popolation policy on the radio over the Red River Delta (via the researchs in 3 provinces: Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam) today, then, suggesting several contributive solutions for improvemental purpose in communications of popolation policy on the radio over the Red River Delta in the coming time.

This thesis clarifies the fundamental grounds in population policies and the functions of radio in mass communications of popolation policy.

The research operated within the limits of the mass communications of popolation policy on the radio over the Red River Delta (including: television and broadcast stations in Thai Binh City and other suburban districts in Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam provinces) over a 3-year period from 2015 to 2017.

This study uses a gread deal of secondary documentaries related to the topic, other documents, policies, regulations of Vietnamese authority about the press, especially the radio system in communications of popolation policy; and different statistical analysis methods and demographic investigation for valuable conclusions which contribute to this topic.

11. Practical applicability, if any: The conclusion of this thesis might contribute and minimize the disadvantages and encourage the press system to complete its missions - communications of popolation policy and help the authority finish the population target in the coming years;

Additionally, this is also a beneficial documentary for journalist colleges and who are interested in this topic.
