10. Summary of the thesis results:
Thesis: COMMUNICATION ABOUT PEOPLE'S COUNCILS AT ALL LEVELS IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY PRESS, consists of 3 chapters:
- Chapter 1: Theoretical basis of communication of People's Councils at all levels through the press
- Chapter 2: The current state of media coverage of People's Councils at all levels in the National Assembly press.
- Chapter 3: Some solutions to improve the effectiveness of communication about the People's Council in the National Assembly press.
Through surveying information on the activities of the People's Councils in the two media outlets of the National Assembly, namely the People's Representatives Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television, the thesis has basically addressed the tasks set forth, specifically:
Firstly, the thesis focuses on clarifying concepts related to the topic: a comprehensive systematization of the theoretical basis of journalistic information, the viewpoints, guidelines, and policies of the Party and State; and the role of the press in the activities of the People's Councils and the National Assembly. In particular, the author introduces the concept of "National Assembly Journalism," highlighting the formation and development of this specialized type of journalism in conjunction with the operation of the Vietnamese National Assembly. Two typical National Assembly media outlets are the People's Representatives Newspaper and the Vietnam National Assembly Television.
Secondly, the study surveys the media coverage of the People's Council's activities in the National Assembly's press, specifically in the sections "People's Council" (People's Deputies Newspaper) and "National Assembly - People's Council" (National Assembly Television). Based on this, the survey, analysis, and evaluation of information dissemination regarding the People's Council's activities were also conducted on these two areas. The thesis specifically surveyed, analyzed, and evaluated information on the National Assembly's foreign affairs activities in the People's Deputies Newspaper and National Assembly Television from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021.
Based on practical observations, the thesis highlights the successes and points out the limitations in the dissemination of information about the activities of the People's Councils in the press. Specifically, the two channels, the National Assembly Newspaper and the National Assembly Television, have provided timely and comprehensive information on election activities, supervision, and sessions in various rich and diverse forms, accurately reflecting the operating principles of the People's Councils and contributing to guiding public opinion to understand, respect, and support the activities of the People's Councils. This affirms the important role of the People's Councils and the National Assembly in formulating, guiding, and supervising the implementation of these policies in practice.
In addition, the author also points out the limitations that need to be overcome by the two media organizations in order to move towards specific solutions for long-term development.
Thirdly, based on the realities presented in the thesis, the author proposes several solutions and recommendations for the People's Councils and the National Assembly of Vietnam. Besides investing in content, given the current tastes of readers, the question of how to present information in an engaging and lively manner is always a concern for reporters, editors, and media outlets. Surveys show that most journalistic products reflecting the activities of the People's Councils are structured around reporting and describing events to provide information, followed by conclusions and assessments. However, this information is primarily factual and narrative, with little commentary, analysis, or evaluation. That is, the information provided to the recipient is mainly formulaic, following traditional, "safe" journalistic practices, thus inevitably resulting in rigidity, boredom, and a lack of appeal to readers.

- Chapter 2: Situation of communication about People's Councils at all levels in the National Assembly press
- Chapter 3: Some solutions to improve communication efficiency about the People's Council in the National Assembly press
Through surveying information on the activities of the People's Council on two speech agencies of the National Assembly, the People's Deputies Newspaper and the Vietnam National Assembly Television, the thesis has basically solved the set tasks, specifically:
Firstly, the thesis focuses on clarifying concepts related to the topic: fully systematizing the theoretical basis of press information, viewpoints, lines and policies of the Party and State; the role of the press in the activities of the People's Council and the National Assembly. In particular, the author introduces the concept of National Assembly Press, highlighting the formation and development of this type of specialized journalism associated with the operation of the National Assembly of Vietnam. Two typical NA press agencies are the People's Deputies Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television..
Secondly, survey the communication about the activities of the People's Council in the National Assembly press in 02 categories "People's Council" (NEW newspaper) and "NAIAL - People's Council" (THQH). On that basis, the survey, analysis and evaluation of information work on the activities of the People's Council are also carried out with these two contents. The thesis has conducted a survey, analysis, and specific evaluation of information about the National Assembly's foreign activities in the People's Deputies and National Assembly newspapers from January 1, 2021 to December 1, 2021.
From the actual survey, the thesis has highlighted the successes and pointed out the limitations in the information about the activities of the People's Council in the newspaper. Specifically, two channels of Dialogue newspaper and National Assembly television have promptly and fully informed the election, supervision and meeting activities in various forms, reflecting the operating principles of the National Assembly. People's Council, contributes to orienting public opinion to understand, respect and support the activities of the People's Council. Third, on the basis of the facts pointed out in the thesis, the author proposes a number of solutions and recommendations for the People's Representative and the National Assembly of Vietnam. Besides investing in content, with the current tastes of readers, how to present information in an attractive and vivid way is always a problem for reporters, editors and press agencies. . The survey shows that most of the press products that reflect on the activities of the People's Council are usually arranged from reporting and describing the incident to provide information, then making conclusions, evaluations, etc. but still mostly factual information - narrative, less commentary, analysis, evaluation. That is, the information provided to the recipient is mainly stereotyped in the traditional, "safe" way, so it is inevitable that it will be rigid, boring, lacking in attractiveness, attracting readers.
