- Chapter 2: Current status of communication about People's Councils at all levels in the National Assembly press
- Chapter 3: Some solutions to improve the effectiveness of communication about the People's Council in the National Assembly press
Through a survey of information on the activities of the People's Council on the two mouthpieces of the National Assembly, the People's Representative Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television, the thesis has basically solved the proposed tasks, specifically:

Firstly, the thesis focuses on clarifying the concepts related to the topic: fully systematizing the theoretical basis of press information, viewpoints, guidelines, and policies of the Party and the State; the role of the press in the activities of the People's Council and the National Assembly. In particular, the author introduces the concept of National Assembly Press, highlighting the formation and development of this specialized press type associated with the operation of the National Assembly of Vietnam. Two typical National Assembly press agencies are the People's Representative Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television.

Second, surveying the communication work on the activities of the People's Council in the National Assembly press in the two columns "People's Council" (DBND newspaper) and "NATIONAL ASSEMBLY - PEOPLE'S COUNCIL" (THQH). On that basis, the survey, analysis and evaluation of the information work on the activities of the People's Council were also carried out in these two contents. The thesis conducted a survey, analysis and specific evaluation of information on the foreign affairs activities of the National Assembly in the People's Deputies and THQH newspapers from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
From the actual survey, the thesis has highlighted the successes and pointed out the limitations in information about the activities of the People's Council in the press. Specifically, the two channels of the Delegates newspaper and the National Assembly television have promptly and fully informed about the election, supervision and session activities in many rich and diverse forms, correctly reflecting the operating principles of the People's Council, contributing to orienting public opinion to understand, respect and support the activities of the People's Council. Thereby affirming the important role of the People's Council and the National Assembly in formulating, orienting policies and supervising the implementation of these policies in practice.
Besides, the author also pointed out the limitations that need to be overcome by the two press agencies in order to aim for specific solutions for long-term development.

Third, based on the facts pointed out in the thesis, the author proposes a number of solutions and recommendations for the People's Council and the National Assembly of Vietnam. In addition to investing in content, with the current taste of readers, how to present information in an attractive and vivid way is always a problem for reporters, editors and press agencies. Through the survey, it is shown that most press products reflecting the activities of the People's Council are often structured from reporting and describing events to provide information and then drawing conclusions and assessments, but mainly still information of an event nature - reporting, with little commentary, analysis and evaluation. That is, the information provided to the recipient is mainly stereotyped according to the traditional, "safe" way of reporting, so it is inevitable that it is rigid, boring, and lacks appeal and appeal to readers.
