10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis presents a novel study on Journal Editorial Management in the context of digital transformation. To survive and thrive, newsrooms in general, and magazines in particular, need to move towards innovative models, including digital transformation, focusing on building a converged and multimedia newsroom model. Furthermore, newsrooms need to innovate (replacing traditional models) in the organization of journalistic and media production, and especially need a strategy for training journalistic and media human resources to meet the practical demands of the current digital transformation of the journalism and media industry.
11. Practical applications: The research results will provide recommendations for leadership and management in journalism; recommendations will be given to the three surveyed journals on solutions to better fulfill their roles in governance in the context of digital transformation.
