10. Summary of the thesis results:

The self-assessment of students at Ninh Binh No. 2 Juvenile Detention Center is reflected in the following aspects: family self, social self, physical self, school self, emotional self, and future self. The family self and future self are rated highest by the students, who believe that family is always the place where they share all the joys and sorrows of life, regardless of past mistakes. Feelings of guilt and inferiority due to past mistakes, as well as the burdens of making a living, make reintegration into the community difficult, resulting in the lowest ratings for their social and school selves. The research also revealed a bleak emotional picture in the emotional lives of students in reform schools. This is a matter of concern because, at this age, instead of playing, being carefree, optimistic, and living with enthusiasm, the prolonged emotional instability during these years makes it difficult for them to form and develop their personalities. Age and educational level have a certain influence on the self-assessment of students in reform schools.

11. Practical applications: This helps authorities understand the psychology of students in reform schools and develop appropriate measures, such as adjusting policies and regulations in their educational activities.

12. Further research directions: Investigating the correlation between self-assessment and law-breaking behavior in juvenile offenders.

10. Thesis result summary.

The self-assessment by juvenile students at Ninh Binh Reformatory No. 2 is shown through: their family ego, social, school, emotional, and future ego. Based on this self-assessment, their family ego and future ego are assessed as the most important ones as they consider that their family always share joys and sadness with them no matter what mistakes they made in the past. They find it hard to reintegrate into the community due to the inferiority complex resulting from their faults and earning burdens, which places their social and school ego at the bottom of the self-assessment list. The study also reveals a gloomy picture narrating the emotions of the students in the reformatory, which is worth concerning as at their age, those students should innocently and optimistically play and enjoy fun, or live enthusiastically rather than remain in prolonged mood instability that causes difficulties to their personality formation and development. Age and educational level had certain impact on the self-assessment of the juvenile students at reformatories.

11. Application possibility in real practice: To help the authorities grasp the psychology of juvenile students at reformatories and make recommendations including a required, adjusted policy in education activities.

12. Further study directions: Study the correlation between self-assessment and violations of the laws of juvenile offenders.
