10. Summary of the thesis results:
Self-management skills in learning are crucial to the effectiveness of students' learning in general, and specifically for students at Hai Duong College of Economics and Technology. Research into students' learning skills under the credit-based training system includes four basic components: the ability to independently plan their studies, classroom learning skills, self-study and research skills, and self-assessment skills.
The development of self-management skills in students' learning activities under the credit-based training system is influenced by both subjective and objective factors. Among these, awareness of self-management skills and learning motivation are the subjective factors that have the greatest influence on the formation of these skills in students. The conclusions drawn from the investigation of the current state of students' self-management skills are entirely consistent with the scientific hypothesis stated in this study.
To further enhance students' self-management skills in their studies, several solutions need to be implemented simultaneously:
The school needs a flexible curriculum that meets its training objectives. Course content should include opportunities for discussion and exchange with students, tailored to their cognitive levels and learning abilities throughout their years of study.
In managing training, it is necessary to use timely forms of communication regarding students' learning progress and teaching schedules. The school needs to have a training plan for each program on an annual basis and needs to strengthen its physical infrastructure to meet the learning needs of students.
Lecturers need to master university teaching methods suitable for credit-based training, guiding students to form and develop self-management skills for learning activities in the subjects they teach.
Students need to be fully aware of the training regulations and learning management skills, and actively and proactively participate in the school's learning activities.
11. Practical Application: The research findings provide insight into the current state of self-management skills in learning activities among students at Hai Duong College of Economics and Technology. Based on this, we offer recommendations to help the school, lecturers, and students make appropriate assessments and adjustments to the curriculum and teaching methods to further enhance students' self-management skills in learning activities.
