10. Summary of thesis results:
Firstly; This study aims to find out the current situation, causes and consequences of women suffering from domestic violence in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province. Through studying the geographical location and research area to find out the current situation, causes and consequences of women suffering from domestic violence, thereby having solutions to help women victims of domestic violence.
Second; In particular, the topic focuses on analyzing the role of social workers in the process of assisting women who are victims of domestic violence in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province through the following main roles: (1) The role of consulting and advising; (2) The role of communication and education on preventing and combating domestic violence, (3) The role of mediation; (5) The role of legal aid; (5) The role of advocacy; and (6) The role of connecting resources. By applying the skills and working methods of social workers with specific actions, this is the difference in the method of assisting women who are victims of domestic violence compared to other majors and research topics.
Third; The study draws conclusions and recommendations to help women who are victims of domestic violence receive more active support to help victims of domestic violence have a better life.
The thesis also contributes to supplementing learning resources and serving as reference material for social work students on issues related to the role of social workers in assisting women suffering from domestic violence in general and the role of social workers in assisting women suffering from domestic violence in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province in particular.

Firstly, This research aims at identifying current condition, reasons and consequences of women bearing domestic violence at Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province. Through studying geographical position, research location to find out current status, reasons, consequences of women bearing domestic violence identify to suitable solution to help victims as women bearing domestic violence.
Secondly, the topic focuses on analyzing the role of social work staff in the process of supporting women bearing domestic violence at Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province through primary roles: (1) Role of advising; (2) Role of propagating and educating domestic violence prevention; (3) role of conciliation; (4) Role of legal assistance; (5) Role as an advocate; and (6) Role of resource connection. By applying for skills, profession method of social work staff for detailed actions, this is featured point of method helping women bearing domestic violence comparing with other specialties study topics.
Thirdly, the research results in conclusion and recommendation aimed at supporting women bearing domestic violence much more positively for their better life.
