10. Summary of the thesis results:

Firstly: To conduct a thorough and systematic study of the life cycle rituals of the Nung Phan Slinh people in Thach Dan commune, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province.

Secondly: The thesis uses Pierre Bourdieu's social capital theory and Marcel Mauss's gifting theory to approach community support in life cycle rituals, in terms of material, spiritual, and labor aspects.

Thirdly: Based on the above results, the thesis continues to analyze the role of mutual assistance in community cohesion and development.

11. Practical applications

Firstly, through the description of life cycle rituals in Chapter 2 of this thesis, policymakers can use it as a basis to develop solutions for preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​in these life cycle rituals.

Secondly: Through the analysis of community mutual support in life cycle rituals in Chapter 3, and the role of mutual support in community cohesion and development in Chapter 4, policymakers can use this information to develop programs related to the preservation and promotion of the cultural identity of life cycle rituals, contributing to the successful implementation of the new rural development program and improving socio-cultural life in the current context of integration.

12. Future research directions

Firstly, this study examines the transformation of life cycle rituals in the context of current industrialization and modernization.

Secondly: research on the social capital of the Nung Phan Slinh people, from their traditional values ​​to the changes in the context of current integration.
