10. Summary of thesis results:

Marriage and marital satisfaction is a topic that has received attention from scholars around the world. However, this is still a relatively new topic for Vietnamese scholars. The results of the literature review show that domestic studies on satisfaction mainly focus on the business-commercial fields with studies on customer/consumer/employee satisfaction with a product, service or a business model; Education and training fields with studies related to satisfaction with training quality, training programs, lecturers, work; Or studies on satisfaction in the medical field; Or more broadly, studies on satisfaction with life. There has been no study that has delved into the satisfaction with marriage of young intellectual couples. In this context, the results of a survey of data on young intellectual couples in Hanoi show that in general, young intellectuals surveyed are quite satisfied with their married life. There were statistically significant differences between husbands and wives in terms of marital satisfaction. Sex, number of children, occupation, income, location of residence, and length of marriage were associated with marital satisfaction among the couples surveyed.

11. Practical applicability: The research results of the thesis are a meaningful reference in scientific research. The research has shown a clear view of the current state of married life of young intellectual couples, thereby proposing a number of recommendations to improve the quality of married life for young intellectual couples today.

12. Further research directions:

If we have the conditions and time, we will study more deeply the personality traits of the spouse, the spouse's behavior in the relationship with the spouse's parents, the number of years of marriage and the marital satisfaction of the couples.
