The thesis focuses on research and gives some basic results as follows:

Affirming the unique and meaningful contributions of Tao Dan in publishing articles on literature, arts, culture... significantly contributing to the construction and promotion of Vietnamese national culture in the period before the August Revolution in 1945. Acknowledging two models of cultural and artistic magazines that Tao Dan implemented as an initiative: Monthly magazine with stable and comprehensive columns on composition and research, criticism, translation and Special Magazine with timely updates on an author right after that author passed away during the year.

In its operation of less than a year, with 13 regular issues and 2 special issues, Tao Dan has made efforts to attract articles according to the distribution of sections and the number of pages. The success of Tao Dan can be said to be due to the close implementation of its motto of striving to build a literary and artistic foundation bearing the unique mark of the nation. Tao Dan Magazine is not only a meeting place for ideological trends and artistic tendencies, but has truly become an open forum accepting all possible different opinions as long as they share the same stance of preserving and promoting the unique humanistic spiritual values ​​of the nation.
