11. Summaryturn off thesis results:Fromresearch results of the project"Application of Case Management in assisting people living with HIV using services at Hoang Mai Outpatient Clinic - Hanoi City"The author investigated the support needs of people living with HIV using services at the Hoang Mai outpatient clinic and the practices of supporting people living with HIV in accessing and utilizing care, treatment, and related HIV/AIDS support services at the clinic. The research results showed that people living with HIV have several prominent psychological, health, and social needs requiring support, particularly in the initial stages when clients first receive their HIV test results and begin treatment. Given the clinic's specific role as a healthcare facility providing HIV testing and ARV treatment counseling services, in addition to the services and support it can offer clients, there are still some limitations in supporting and connecting clients to better meet the needs of people living with HIV and contribute to improved treatment effectiveness. From implementing case management applications in client support at clinics, the author found that case management is an intervention method in assisting people living with HIV that can be implemented in practice and brings effectiveness to clients in particular and the effectiveness of the care and treatment program in general. The topic also serves as a basis for further research on case management for people living with HIV in the context of healthcare facilities, the role of social work, and its contribution to HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: From the research results of the thesis "Application of Case Management to support people living with HIV using services at Hoang Mai Outpatient Clinic - Hanoi City", the author identifies the needs of people living with HIV (PLHIV) who are using services at Hoang Mai outpatient clinic and current situations of the clinic's supporting to PLHIV in accessing and using HIV/AIDS-related care and support services. Research results show that PLHIV have apparent psychological, health and social needs happening on the early stages when clients know their HIV positive test results and initiate ARV treatment. As being a health facility providing HIV testing and counseling and ARV treatment services, besides services and supports that the clinic can provide, there still exists some limitations in providing and connecting support for PLHIV to better meet their needs and contribute for improved outcomes of treatment. From the implementation of the case management application to support the clinic's PLHIV, the author identifies that case management as an intervention method to support PLHIV could be rolled out and brought positive impacts on PLHIV in particular and treatment program in general. The thesis also serves as the foundation for further studies on health facility-based case management to support PLHIV, roles of social work and its contribution in HIV/AIDS program.

The research results can be used for reference by health facilities, community organizations or projects considering application of case management to support PLHIV, promoting roles of social work to improve effectiveness of current interventions and support for PLHIV.
