11. Summaryturn off thesis results:Fromresearch results of the topic“Application of Case Management in supporting people living with HIV using services at Hoang Mai outpatient clinic - Hanoi City”The author studied the support needs of people living with HIV who are using services at Hoang Mai outpatient clinic and the practice of supporting people living with HIV to access and use care and treatment services and HIV/AIDS-related support at the clinic. The research results show that people living with HIV have some outstanding psychological, health and social needs that need support, focusing on the early stages when clients first learn about their HIV test results and participate in treatment. With the characteristics of a medical facility providing HIV testing and ARV treatment counseling services, in addition to the services and support that the clinic can provide to clients, there are still some limitations in supporting and connecting clients to better meet the needs of people living with HIV and contribute to improving treatment effectiveness. From the implementation of case management application in customer support at the clinic, the author found that case management is an intervention method in supporting people living with HIV that can be implemented in practice and bring about effectiveness for customers in particular and the effectiveness of the treatment care program in general. The topic is also the basis for further studies on case management of people living with HIV in the context of medical facilities, the role of social work and the effectiveness of contributions to HIV/AIDS prevention.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: From the research results of the thesis "Application of Case Management to support people living with HIV using services at Hoang Mai Outpatient Clinic - Hanoi City", the author identifies the needs of people living with HIV (PLHIV) who are using services at Hoang Mai outpatient clinic and current situations of the clinic's supporting to PLHIV in accessing and using HIV/AIDS-related care and support services. Research results show that PLHIV have apparent psychological, health and social needs happening on the early stages when clients know their HIV positive test results and initiate ARV treatment. As being a health facility providing HIV testing and counseling and ARV treatment services, besides services and supports that the clinic can provide, there still exists some limitations in providing and connecting support for PLHIV to better meet their needs and contribute for improved outcomes of treatment. From the implementation of the case management application to support the clinic's PLHIV, the author identifies that case management as an intervention method to support PLHIV could be rolled out and brought positive impacts on PLHIV in particular and treatment program in general. The thesis also serves as the foundation for further studies on health facility-based case management to support PLHIV, roles of social work and its contribution in HIV/AIDS program.

Practical applicability, if any: Research results of the topic "Application of case management to support people living with HIV (PLHIV) using services at Hoang Mai Outpatient Clinic - Hanoi City" can be used as a reference for studies about health facilities-based support for PLHIV, a suggestion for an additional intervention method in supporting PLHIV of ARV outpatient clinics in Vietnam. The research results can be used for reference by health facilities, community organizations or projects considering application of case management to support PLHIV, promoting roles of social work to improve effectiveness of current interventions and support for PLHIV.
