Depression is a fairly common disease in today's society. According to statistics from the World Health Organization, depression is the leading cause of illness worldwide, affecting more than 300 million people. Nearly 800 thousand people die from suicide each year, suicide is the second leading cause of death in the 15 to 29 age group. Due to its prevalence and seriousness, there have been many studies on this issue in the world. Many studies in Vietnam have shown that the use of psychological therapy in parallel with pharmaceutical therapy is highly effective and meaningful in preventing depression relapse.
In this study, the author provided an overview of the problem of depressive disorders in adolescents. The author also focused on assessing and analyzing the psychological problems of a client diagnosed with depressive disorders with self-harming behavior and conducted online therapy interventions using cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques with the hope of supporting the client to acquire skills to control emotions, thoughts and behavior. At the same time, support the client to improve self-worth, connect with relatives and friends, thereby building a stable psychological foundation to cope with life events.
11. Practical application:
The thesis is a process of assessing, diagnosing and intervening a clinical case, from the beginning to the implementation of two priority output goals. The treatment plan is built to help the client have a sustainable psychological foundation, building some preventive skills in each difficult situation.
The thesis's theory focuses on the topic of depressive disorders in adolescents. The research results will be the premise for the development of research on depressive disorders in this age group in Vietnam in the future.

Due to its popularity and seriousness, there have been many studies in the world on this issue. Many studies in Vietnam have shown that the use of psychotherapy in parallel with chemotherapy has a high therapeutic effect and is significant in preventing depression recurrence.
In this study, the author gives an overview of teenage depressive disorders. The author also focuses on assessing and analyzing the psychological problems of a client diagnosed with self-harming depressive disorder and conducting interventions using online therapy using receiving therapeutic techniques. consciousness - behavior with the desire to assist the client in acquiring emotional control, thought control and behavioral skills.
