To analyze the causes and to propose some suitable solutions for the current activities of the Youth Union.

Research results: after conducting a survey using methods of opinion polling, in-depth interviews, and document analysis

The results of the study showed that: most students still have vague awareness of life skills, there are many signs of lack of skills and the majority of students have a great need for life skills education.

The research results also show that the Youth Union of the University of Trade Unions has many favorable conditions to organize activities to orient values and educate life skills for students; in organizing and implementing the movement, the Youth Union of the University has many strengths to gather and educate student union members. However, the activities to educate life skills systematically, organized at a reasonable time as well as having a mechanism to expand the participants are still limited.
