10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis systematizes the general theoretical basis regarding journalists' access to financial information in the current period. It addresses sources and their use, the concept of information access, access to financial information from a legal and journalistic perspective, and the necessity and requirements for journalists' access to financial information.

This thesis analyzes and evaluates the current state of journalists' access to financial information through financial content on several online newspapers. In addition, the thesis assesses the current situation and difficulties in providing and accessing financial information for journalists through surveys of journalists writing about economics and finance and those who provide financial information.

Therefore, this thesis proposes solutions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of providing and accessing financial information for journalists in the future.

11. Practical applications:

In practical terms, this topic will serve as a reference for journalists, press management agencies, and officials of agencies holding information related to the press, helping them gain more knowledge and a new perspective on how to access financial information in the future.

12. Future research directions:

Besides the results analyzed and mentioned above, the thesis still has certain limitations and shortcomings, such as: not fully surveying other types of journalism, only focusing on online journalism; the survey scale is also not broad enough and only includes journalists writing about the economic and financial fields, and financial information providers within a limited scope. Therefore, the next research direction of the thesis is to expand the survey to other types of journalism, and at the same time expand the survey scale to include journalists and information providers.

The logical thesis presents the general theoretical basis for Vietnamese journalists' access to financial information in the current period. specifically, it refers to information sources and use of these sources, concepts of access to information and access to financial information from the law and the press's perspective, and the necessity and requirements for Vietnamese journalists' access to financial information.

This thesis analyzes and assesses the current situation of Vietnamese jounalists' access to financial information through the contents of financial information published on some electronic sites. Besides, the thesis also evaluates the status and difficulties in provision of information and journalists' access to financial information through a survey on economic journalists and financial information suppliers.

On the basis of these analysis and assessments, the thesis recommends solutions to improve the efficiency of provision and access to financial information for journalists in the future.

At a practical level, the thesis will be the reference for journalists, media management agencies, and the staff of agencies holding press-related information. The thesis also facilitates these subjects to gain more knowledge as well as to form a new approach to financial information in the future.

13. Further research directions, if any: .............................................................

Besides the results analyzed and mentioned above, the thesis still has some limitations. For example, the survey focuses on electronic media rather than other types of media. The survey sample size is also not yet large enough, mainly concentrating on financial- economic journalists and financial information providers at a narrow scale. Therefore, the follow-up research will be on other media types and the survey samples will be expanded to other types of journalists and information providers.
