Besides the introduction and conclusion, the thesis consists of three main chapters:
Chapter 1Theoretical basis. This chapter will address several concepts related to the study of the linguistic and cultural characteristics of Vietnamese people in labor and production. Specifically, the following issues will be covered:
1. The concept of Vietnamese proverbs and folk songs
2. The relationship between language and culture
Chapter 2: Linguistic characteristics reflected in proverbs and folk songs about labor and production.
This chapter, based on a statistical analysis of Vietnamese proverbs and folk songs related to labor and production, classifies and specifically describes each aspect of labor in production (experience in farming, animal husbandry, fishing, etc.). From this, it draws conclusions, both quantitative and qualitative, about the forms of expression of Vietnamese experiences in labor and production.
Chapter 3Cultural characteristics reflected in proverbs and folk songs about labor and production.
This chapter focuses on identifying aspects of Vietnamese people's perceptions of labor and production. From this, initial observations can be drawn regarding the characteristics of Vietnamese thinking and culture in the field of labor and production.
12. Practical applications:
The research findings of this thesis contribute significantly to the teaching, learning, and understanding of the Vietnamese proverb and folk song treasury in general, and proverbs and folk songs about labor and production in particular, while also contributing to the compilation of a dictionary of proverbs and folk songs.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis comprises of three main chapters excluding the introduction and conclusion.
Chapter 1: Rationale. This chapter reviews the concepts related to the study on characteristics of Vietnamese language and culture in productive labor. specifically, (1) the concepts of Vietnamese proverbs and folk-songs; (2) the relationships between language and culture.
Chapter 2: The linguistic characteristics in proverbs and folk-songs on productive labor. In this chapter, based on the systemization of proverbs and folk-songs related to productive labor of Vietnamese people, we classify and describe in details for each aspect of productive labor (experiences in cultivating, breeding, catching,...). Based on the classification, we remark, both quantitatively and qualitatively, on experiences of Vietnamese people in productive labor.
Chapter 3: The cultural characteristics in proverbs and folk-songs about productive labor. This chapter focuses on cognitive aspects of Vietnamese people on labor and production. Remarks on thought features and cultural features of Vietnamese people in productive labor have been made.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The findings of the current thesis contribute to the teaching and learning, studying, investigating the Vietnamese proverbs and folk-songs inventory in general, as well as the Vietnamese proverbs and folk-songs about productive labor in specific. It also contributes to the compilation of dictionaries of proverbs and folk-songs.
