In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the thesis consists of three main chapters:
Chapter 1: Theoretical basis. This chapter will discuss some concepts related to the study of the linguistic and cultural characteristics of Vietnamese people in production labor. Specifically, the following issues:
1. Concept of Vietnamese proverbs and folk songs
2. The relationship between language and culture
Chapter 2: Linguistic features expressed in proverbs and folk songs about production labor
In this chapter, based on statistics of proverbs and folk songs related to Vietnamese labor production, we classify and describe each specific scope of labor production (experience in cultivation, animal husbandry, fishing, etc.). From there, we draw both quantitative and qualitative comments on the form of expression of experiences in Vietnamese labor production.
Chapter 3Cultural characteristics expressed in proverbs and folk songs about production labor
This chapter focuses on pointing out the aspects of Vietnamese people's perception of labor and production. From there, we initially draw conclusions about the thinking and cultural characteristics of Vietnamese people in the field of labor production.
12. Practical application:
The research results of the thesis contribute to the teaching, learning and understanding of the treasure of Vietnamese proverbs and folk songs in general and proverbs and folk songs about labor production in particular, and also contribute to the compilation of a dictionary of proverbs and folk songs.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis comprises of three main chapters excluding the introduction and conclusion.
Chapter 1: Rationale. This chapter reviews the concepts related to the study on characteristics of Vietnamese language and culture in productive labor. specifically, (1) the concepts of Vietnamese proverbs and folk-songs; (2) the relationships between language and culture.
Chapter 2: The linguistic characteristics in proverbs and folk-songs on productive labor. In this chapter, based on the systemization of proverbs and folk-songs related to productive labor of Vietnamese people, we classify and describe in details for each aspect of productive labor (experiences in cultivating, breeding, catching,...). Based on the classification, we remark, both quantitatively and qualitatively, on experiences of Vietnamese people in productive labor.
Chapter 3: The cultural characteristics in proverbs and folk-songs about productive labor. This chapter focuses on cognitive aspects of Vietnamese people on labor and production. Remarks on thought features and cultural features of Vietnamese people in productive labor have been made.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The findings of the current thesis contribute to the teaching and learning, studying, investigating the Vietnamese proverbs and folk-songs inventory in general, as well as the Vietnamese proverbs and folk-songs about productive labor in specific. It also contributes to the compilation of dictionaries of proverbs and folk-songs.
