The thesis focuses on studying theoretical and practical issues of information resource development of information centers - libraries, evaluating the current status of information resource development at the Information Center - Library of Hanoi Medical University. From there, it makes comments and evaluates the strengths, weaknesses and causes of these limitations in the information resource development of the Information Center - Library of Hanoi Medical University. On that basis, it proposes feasible solutions to enhance the information resource development at the Information Center - Library of Hanoi Medical University.

Subsequently, a proper analysis and an assessment in terms of advantages, disadvantages and causes of these limitations are proposed. As a result, feasible solutions to develop the information resources at Hanoi Medical University's Library and Information Center are suggested.
