These were memorable experiences for students of the Tourism Studies department during their comprehensive internship, evocatively titled: "A Journey Covered in Sunshine."

On July 11th, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), together with the affiliated Youth Unions, Student Associations, and Clubs/Teams under the Youth Union and Student Association, successfully organized the "Summer Volunteer Campaign Launch Ceremony, Summer Volunteer Training, and Summary of Volunteer Activities for the 2024 Exam Support Campaign".

On July 2nd and 3rd, 2024, the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture organized a training course on methods for teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language for lecturers at the University. The instructor for the training course was Ms. Nguyen Phuong Chung, M.Sc. – Head of the Vietnamese Language Program at the Department of East Asian Languages ​​and Cultures, Columbia University (USA).

On the morning of July 1st, 2023, the Opening Ceremony of the Training Course for the Local Self-Defense Platoon of the cluster of the University of Science (US) and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), VNU Hanoi, took place in the auditorium of the University of Science.

This is an opportunity for students majoring in Tourism and Travel Service Management, Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to practice the knowledge they have accumulated during their first two years of university in the field.

Both sides proposed options for scientific exchange and support for joint research on issues of mutual interest.

On June 10, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held an important working session with Texas Tech University, USA. The session focused on educational and research cooperation between the two institutions, marking a new step in international cooperation between these two leading universities.

(Education and Training) This year, 63% of the more than 1,071,395 candidates taking the High School Graduation Examination chose the Social Sciences subject. Will the pressure to get into university in this field become intense?

On June 5, 2024, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the results of the QS World University Rankings 2025 (QS WUR 2025). In this ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) has significantly improved its position, rising to the 851-900 group of the world's best higher education institutions according to the QS WUR ranking criteria (compared to the previous ranking of 951-1000).

This was a topic that received much discussion among scientists and lecturers at Korean Studies training institutions in Vietnam at the International Scientific Conference organized by King Sejong Institute Hanoi 1, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on May 24-25, 2024.

On May 14, 2023, the Trade Union of the Faculty of Information and Library Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized a seminar on the topic "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Research," with the participation of many lecturers and staff members of the university.
