10. Summary of project results:

Based on a theoretical overview and psychological intervention methods for interpersonal difficulties, the project assessed, defined the case, planned and conducted intervention for a client with interpersonal difficulties through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The results showed that the client improved in identifying and managing emotions, fear of abandonment in the relationship and increased self-esteem. At the same time, the client also developed the ability to adjust thoughts, irrational beliefs as well as the ability to interact in the relationship.

11. Practical application:

The project proposes an intervention process to support clients experiencing difficulties in interpersonal relationships.

12. Further research directions:

Further research could focus on translating, adapting, or developing scales to measure interpersonal difficulties. Additionally, comparing or combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) could provide a more nuanced view of the effectiveness of interventions for this difficulty.

11. Summary of the findings of the project:

Based on a theoretical review and existing psychological intervention approaching interpersonal difficulties, this thesis conducted assessment, case formulation, treatment planning, and intervention for a client with interpersonal difficulties through behavioral cognitive therapy (CBT). The results indicate significant improvements in the client's ability to identify and manage emotions, reduce the fear of abandonment in relationships, and enhance self-esteem. Furthermore, the client demonstrates progress in restructuring irrational thoughts and beliefs, as well as in developing and maintaining healthier interpersonal relationships.

The thesis proposed an intervention procedure to support clients experiencing difficulties in interpersonal relationships.

13. Further research directions:

Future studies may focus on translating, adapting, or developing a scale to assess difficulties in interpersonal relationships. In addition, comparing or integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) could provide a more diverse perspective on the effectiveness of different intervention approaches for these issues.
