10. Summary of project results:

The project has built a theoretical basis for intervention in depression disorders. The project has assessed the problem, defined the case and determined the output and process goals for the client. Through the 11-session intervention, the output goals have been achieved, the symptoms of depression have significantly decreased. The client continues to go to school and knows how to prevent relapse. The client has a positive attitude, knows how to identify and adjust negative thoughts, and maintains healthy behavior. Social relationships, study and daily activities have improved significantly. The trainees have applied therapeutic skills well, especially listening and emotional support. The effectiveness of the intervention is evaluated as good.

11. Practical application:

The results of the project show that psychological intervention for depressive disorders is effective. The project contributes to providing a highly applicable therapeutic practice model, suitable for real conditions in Vietnam, especially in provincial psychiatric hospitals, psychological counseling centers, schools or communities.

10. Summary of the findings of the project:

The thesis establishes the theoretical basis for depressive disorder intervention. It conducted problem assessment, case conceptualization, and defined outcomes and process goals for the client. Following 11 intervention sessions, the outcome goals were achieved, and depressive symptoms were markedly reduced. The client was able to resume studies and learned ways to prevent relapse. The client developed a positive attitude, learned to identify and adjust negative thoughts, and maintain healthy behaviors. Social relationships, academic performance, and daily life significantly improved. The student effectively applied therapy skills, especially listening and emotional support. The intervention efficiency was evaluated as good.

The results of the thesis show that psychological intervention for depressive disorder brings good effectiveness.
