10. Summary of project results:
The study presented an overview of domestic and foreign studies on the issue of Psychological intervention for a case of a young female with obsessive-compulsive symptoms. The study presented basic contents on this issue such as concepts, risk factors, factors maintaining the difficult situation of obsessive-compulsive disorder. At the same time, the study discussed assessment and intervention methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, specifically Exposure Non-Response Therapy (ERP) and relaxation skills, cognitive restructuring to support clients in problem solving. The intervention results showed that the client reduced obsessive-compulsive symptoms, increased the ability to regulate personal emotions and improved the ability to maintain social relationships.
11. Practical application:
Through the process of theoretical research and clinical intervention, the project has contributed further evidence for the effectiveness of the Cognitive-Behavioral approach in psychological support related to obsessive-compulsive disorder. At the same time, the limitations of this project also provide new practitioners with important lessons for future effectiveness.
