10. Summary of project results:
Stress is an increasingly common problem with diverse impacts on various groups of people facing different life issues such as exam pressure, work, health, finances, etc. The content of this thesis is to use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to intervene in a student exhibiting stress symptoms. After completing two intervention outcomes (13 sessions): (1) reducing stress symptoms; (2) improving social skills and end-of-objective assessment, the student showed positive changes such as reduced stress symptoms, building a healthy daily routine, developing healthy coping mechanisms for life problems, and gaining a better understanding of themselves. In addition, the student built and maintained good skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and communication.
11. Practical applications:
This thesis contributes further evidence showing that cognitive behavioral therapy is an effective treatment for clients with stress problems, enabling them to learn healthy coping skills and self-support for the future.

Summary of the findings of the project: Stress is an increasingly common issue that affects various groups of people and manifests through many aspects of life such as academic pressure, work, health, and finances. The content of this thesis focuses on applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as an intervention for a university student exhibiting symptoms of stress. After completing two intervention objectives over 13 sessions — (1) reducing stress symptoms and (2) improving social skills, with evaluations conducted at the end of each phase — the client showed significant positive changes. These include a reduction in stress symptoms, the establishment of a healthier daily routine, the development of more adaptive coping strategies for life challenges, and a deeper understanding of self. In addition, the client was able to build and maintain essential skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and communication.
