Second, give definitions related to culture, French schools, French schools overseas and topics related to Vietnamese culture. The current situation of French schools overseas as well as the influence of French culture through overseas educational institutions.
Third, an overview of the history of French schools in Vietnam in the past as well as the highlights of the Vietnamese culture course that has been included in the official curriculum. A detailed study of the Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture curriculum at the French school Lycée francais Alexandre Yersin at each grade level.
Fourth, provide an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of this program, and suggest solutions to enrich the Vietnamese cultural content in the programs at each grade level. At the same time, provide an open view for Vietnamese language and culture schools overseas on the perspective of enhancing cultural influence and soft power.

The results of the thesis research have the potential to be applied in practice as well as a basis for proposing ideas and directions on teaching Vietnamese to people of Vietnamese origin (especially children) as well as foreigners outside of Vietnam, contributing to some extent to consolidating and enhancing the influence of Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture not only on overseas compatriots but even foreigners in their own homeland.
