11. Summary of project results:
After researching the achievements of cooperation in Vietnam-Korea relations over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations and assessing the prospects for bilateral relations within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the trainees have completed the objectives and tasks of the project. A summary of some of the results is as follows:
- In Chapter 1, the author outlines the formation and development of Vietnam-Korea relations, with three upgrades to the relationship: 21st Century Comprehensive Partnership (2001), Strategic Partnership (2009), and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2022); analyzes the foundations promoting bilateral relations and highlights achievements in cooperation across various fields; and assesses the existing shortcomings and limitations in Vietnam-Korea relations during the past periods.
- In Chapter 2, the author assesses and analyzes the advantages, difficulties, and prospects for cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea. Based on this, several recommendations and solutions are offered to promote cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields.

Practical applications:The research results help to systematize and update comprehensive documentation on Vietnam-Korea cooperation, offering several recommendations as scientific arguments for researchers, policymakers, and relevant agencies to develop appropriate policies to promote the substantive and effective development of bilateral relations within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
13. Future research directions:In the future, the author will continue to research the geopolitical impact on the development trends of Vietnam-Korea relations; the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in emerging technology fields such as semiconductors and AI; the potential for expanding cooperation in the defense and security sector through both bilateral and multilateral channels; and suggest some policies for Vietnam.
