Depression is one of the most common mental disorders and a leading cause of disease burden globally. In this study on the effectiveness of CBT in intervention for a case of depression, the author presented an overview of studies showing the effectiveness of CBT for depression, and implemented the intervention for a clinical case. The client responded positively, depressive symptoms gradually decreased, and the client also learned to apply CBT techniques to daily life, which helped the client gain more skills to cope with stressful situations in the future after the intervention ended.

The results of the study demonstrated the effectiveness of CBT in cases of depression, helping clients relieve symptoms and apply CBT techniques to life to maintain the effectiveness of the therapy.
