Based on this actual situation, it assesses the role of the press in relation to religious issues in general and in Hanoi in particular. The current religious situation in Vietnam is characterized by a diversity of beliefs and religions with a large number of followers. Religion in Hanoi is very complex; in addition to internal developments, religion in Hanoi is also influenced by religious developments in other provinces and cities nationwide. In other words, religious developments throughout the country directly impact religion in Hanoi, thereby influencing the political and social situation in the capital. The press, as the voice of the Party, the State, and the Vietnamese people, has done a good job in guiding public opinion and combating erroneous ideas in the field of religion nationwide, and in Hanoi in particular. Through a survey of the content of three newspapers: Hanoi Moi, Dai Doan Ket, and Lao Dong, the author observes their reporting methods and the effectiveness of their articles in guiding public opinion on religion in Hanoi. The information from these three newspapers shows that the current coverage of religious issues in Hanoi by newspapers is still not given adequate attention; while articles exist, they are insufficient to meet the information needs and the level of interest in Hanoi's religious issues among readers nationwide. Therefore, when the Hanoi Moi newspaper published a series of articles reflecting on the wrongdoings of Thai Ha parish in "claiming land" at several hotspots in Hanoi, it received continuous feedback from domestic and overseas Vietnamese readers. These counterarguments helped to make the information presented in the articles more objective and in-depth, creating a positive effect on the Hanoi Moi newspaper's communication process. - From the overall practical observations in Chapter 2 and applying the theories of Chapter 1, as well as research methodologies and expert opinions, the author has presented experiences, predictions, and solutions to improve the effectiveness of print media coverage of religious issues in Hanoi in the future. 11. Practical application: This thesis will serve as a systematic reference source, contributing to improving the quality of information and propaganda on religious issues in Hanoi today. This thesis can also serve as a reference for researchers and administrators in writing about religious issues in Hanoi.
