The thesis studies the changes in awareness and behavior of rural people about clean water and environmental sanitation through analyzing the current status of water resources use and environmental sanitation implementation of people in the research area compared to before, after being propagated and mobilized about clean water use and environmental sanitation by local authorities. From there, we can know the factors affecting the awareness and behavior of rural people about clean water and environmental sanitation. In addition, the thesis also points out the relationship between changes in awareness leading to changes in behavior of rural people about clean water and environmental sanitation.

In addition, the thesis also forecasts trends in clean water use and environmental sanitation through people's wishes. It proposes some recommendations to help people raise awareness and practice good habits related to clean water and environmental sanitation in each household, as well as in the community.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis can be applied to propose policies, mechanisms and solutions to improve the quality of domestic water sources and sanitary conditions to contribute to improving the quality of life for rural people.

The thesis studies the changes in the perception and behavior of people in rural areas about clean and hygienic water by analyzing actual use of water resources, and the compliance with environmental sanitation of the people in the researched area between the previous period and the time after the local authorities disseminated and encouraged the clean water access and environmental sanitation. The results will help to figure out factors that affect the perception and behavior of people in rural areas about clean and hygienic water. In addition, the thesis also presents how the change in consciousness leads to the change in behaviors of people in rural areas about clean and hygienic water.

Furthermore, the thesis also predicts the trends in the use of clean and hygienic water in the compliance with environmental sanitation by collecting expectations of the people. It also proposes some suggestions to help them raise their awareness, practice good habits related to clean and hygienic water in every household, as well as community as a whole.
