10. Summary of the thesis results:

The theoretical basis of science and technology information development policy in the context of international integration has been clarified by the author through an examination of the content and relationships of related concepts.

Based on an assessment of the current state of science and technology information development policies in Vietnam and selectively incorporating lessons learned from several countries in the region and the world, the author has proposed specific and feasible policies for developing science and technology information in Vietnam in the context of international integration as follows:

- Continue to promote the collection, processing, provision, and sharing of domestic scientific and technological information resources;

- Promote the selection, supplementation, and sharing of valuable scientific and technological information resources from around the world to effectively serve the country's priority and strategic development areas, aiming to ensure national scientific and technological information security.

- Strengthen the mechanisms for coordination and collaboration in supplementing and sharing scientific and technological information resources nationwide;

- Promote standardization and widely apply international standards in the field of scientific and technological information;

- Focus on directing and implementing the construction of the national database on science and technology;

- Expanding connections and improving the efficiency of the Vietnam Research and Training Network;

- Upgrade existing information products and services and deploy new, high-value-added information products and services to meet the information needs in leadership, management, research, training, and innovation;

- Promote the development, operation, and implementation of the "Development of the Digitalized Vietnamese Knowledge System" project to disseminate and update scientific and technological knowledge for the general public.

11. Practical applications:

In the face of the demands of socio-economic reform and the challenges of integration with the global community, overcoming poverty and information scarcity is a vital requirement. Information and scientific and technological knowledge must quickly become a crucial national resource and be widely and effectively used in socio-economic development and in the social life of the country. Therefore, research to refine policies for the development of scientific and technological information in a way that aligns with the needs of development and international integration has become a top priority solution to transform Vietnam into a modern industrialized nation.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the results of this thesis, further research can be conducted in several directions as follows:

- To study the effectiveness and combined impact of current science and technology information development policies in our country, and thereby propose improvements to the legal framework for science and technology information activities in the future;

- Conduct in-depth and comprehensive research on one of the specific policies proposed in the thesis, and from there propose solutions to improve and develop the policy in a way that ensures effectiveness, positive and strong impact, and feasibility in the future.

- Conduct a comparative study of the aforementioned policies in countries around the world and in the region, thereby drawing lessons learned for the planning and implementation of science and technology information development policies in our country.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The theoretical basis for policy development of science and technology information in the trend of international integration has been clarified by examining the content and relevance of related concepts.

By assessing the current status of science and technology information development policy in our country and selectively experiences from some countries in the region and in the world, the author has proposed some actual policies for development of science and technology information activities in Vietnam in the trend of international integration as follows:

- To continue stepping up the collection, processing, supply and sharing of scientific and technological information sources in the country;

- To step up the selection, acquiring and sharing of valuable scientific and technological resources of the world in order to effectively serve the country's development priorities and strategies towards ensuring the security level of national scientific and technological information;

- To strengthen the coordinating mechanism in developing and sharing scientific and technological information in the whole country;

- To step up the standardization and wide application of international standards in the domain of scientific and technological information;

- To develop theNational databases on science and technology;

- To expand the connection and improve the effectiveness of the Vietnam Research and Education Network;

- Upgrading existing information products and services and deploying new information products and services with high added value for policy making and training in science, technology and innovation;

- To implement nation-wide project "Development of the knowledge-based digital system" to popularize and update scientific and technological knowledge for publics.

11. Practical applicability:

In the response of the challenge of international integrating addressing in lack of information is a vital requirement. Scientific and technological information and knowledge must quickly become important national resources and should be widely and effectively used in socio-economic development and in the social life of the country. Therefore, the research has proposed the policy of developing science and technology information in line with the needs of development international integration has become the first important solution to make our country to become industrialized one in the modern direction.

12. Further research directions:

Based on the results of the thesis, further research can be carried out in the following directions:

- To study the effectiveness and the synergy effects of current scientific and technological information development policies in our country, thus reflecting to perfect the legal basis of scientific and technological information activities in the coming time;

- A comprehensive and in-depth study of one of the specific policies proposed in the thesis, suggests solutions to improve and develop policies in order to ensure effectiveness, positive and strong impacts and considerations in the coming time.

- Study and compare the above policies of countries in the world and in the region from which to draw lessons for the planning and implementation of policies to develop science and technology information in our country.
