10. Summary of thesis results:

The study clarifies the current situation of rural labor structure shift in the context of industrialization and modernization (2004-2013 period) in two directions: Shifting labor structure by industry and shifting labor structure by geographic region. This shift is considered in specific aspects related to workers including: Number, gender, age, education level and technical expertise.

In addition, the study also clarifies the impacts of labor structure shift in recent times on the socio-economic development of the locality, specifically examining changes in people's income and employment as well as changes in the local economic structure, answering the question of whether labor structure shift has met the needs of rural industrialization and modernization.

From the research results, the author proposed solutions to contribute to promoting the process of shifting the rural labor structure towards sustainable industrialization and modernization, helping people improve their quality of life and helping local authorities solve the remaining problems from the labor structure shifting process over the past 10 years.

- The study will be a useful document as a summary report on the labor and employment situation of Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province from 2004-2013.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The research clarifies the reality of the shift in rural labor structure in the process of industrialization and modernization (phase from 2004 to 2013) in two directions: labor restructuring by industry and labor restructuring by geographic region. This shift was considered on specific aspects related to the employee including: quantity, gender, age, educational level and level of technical expertise.

Besides, the study also clarifies the impact of the labor restructuring in the past on the socio-economic development of the locality, aiming to answer the question: “Has the reality of the shift in rural labor structure met the rural industrialization and modernization yet?”

From the results of the study, the author has suggested some solutions to contribute to accelerate the process of shifting rural labor structure in the direction of sustainable industrialization and modernization, helping people improve their quality of life and help the local government solve the remaining issues from the labor restructuring in the last 10 years.
