- The thesis has pointed out and deeply explored one of the major thematic aspects in Nhat Linh's novels, namely the issue of opposing feudal customs and traditions on many different levels. From this, it affirms the progressive ideology of the writer in the struggle for individual liberation from the constraints of the outdated feudal system.
Furthermore, the thesis also summarizes the new artistic values that Nhat Linh brought through his works, placing them within the general context of literature in the early 20th century, thereby helping people to understand Nhat Linh's position in Vietnamese literature.
