10. Summary of the thesis results:
Through descriptions and analyses of students' use of the "Like" button on Facebook, the study investigates the factors influencing their "Like" actions. The research reveals that students frequently click "Like" on a wide variety of content posted on Facebook, exhibiting different behaviors among different student groups. Furthermore, students' "Like" actions are influenced by factors such as their perceived importance of the "Like" button, their social interactions on Facebook, and their economic circumstances.
The study also revealed that students' actions of clicking the "Like" button have had the following social consequences: Firstly, when it reaches the users—students—the "Like" button has transcended its original meaning of expressing affection and become a new means of interaction on Facebook with many different meanings, depending on the content and the message they want to convey to the recipient. Secondly, in addition to the general influences that Facebook brings to users, the "Like" button itself has a certain impact on the psychology of students today, reflected in the notion that the "Like" button is a measure of how much others care about them. As a result, some students have become emotionally dependent on this symbol, which has affected their lives and studies.
11. Practical applications:
The research findings will provide a clearer understanding of Facebook usage among young people in general and students in particular. The "Like" button has become a familiar symbol used by young people as a new means of communication in a unique social environment – the virtual world. Based on this, the study can serve as a reference for businesses and marketers targeting students on social media. Furthermore, given the prevalence of unhealthy information on social media, primarily stemming from the "Like" button, the research results provide a scientific basis for managers in guiding Facebook users, and students in particular, to behave appropriately with this seemingly harmless symbol.

Firstly, being used by the students, the “Like” button goes beyond its initial meaning as liking and becomes a new interactive meaning on Facebook with various meanings, depending on contents, and messages to recipients. Secondly, upon using Facebook, in addition to its common influence on users, the “Like” button also imposes its own impact on the psychology of the students at the moment, reflected in the perspective that the “Like” button is a measurement tool representing one's interest in another, thereby some students become emotionally dependent on this button, causing impact on their daily lives and study.
