The thesis focuses on clarifying the current state of scientific research management. In the initial assessment of the implementation of the process of managing scientific research topics in the University of Science, VNU, the author tried to clarify the main issues of implementing the process of managing scientific research topics of the school. In particular, the author tried to clarify the issues related to each step of implementing the process of managing scientific research topics of the school. The thesis focuses on clarifying the status of scientific research management. Initial evaluating the process of science research projects management in the VNU University of Science, authors tried to clarify the key issues of the implementation of scientific research management of the VNU University of Science. In particular the authors attempt to clarify the issues related to the gradual implementation of scientific research management. From then try to assess what has been done, the limitations and limitations of the performance management process of the scientific research projects.

Based on the clarification of the causes of the current situation, we suggest some measures to improve the efficiency of the implementation of science research projects management at VNU University of Science.
