This thesis focuses on clarifying the current state of scientific research management. As an initial assessment of the implementation of the scientific research project management process at the Faculty of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the author attempts to clarify the main issues of the university's scientific research project management process. In particular, the author tries to clarify issues related to each step in the implementation of the university's scientific research project management process. From there, the author attempts to evaluate the achievements, limitations, and shortcomings of the university's scientific research project management process.

Based on clarifying the causes of the above situation, we boldly propose several measures to improve the effectiveness of the research project management process at the school.

The thesis focuses on clarifying the status of scientific research management. Initial evaluating the process of science research projects management in the VNU University of Science, authors tried to clarify the key issues of the implementation of scientific research management of the VNU University of Science. In particular the authors attempt to clarify the issues related to the gradual implementation of scientific research management. From then try to assess what has been done, the limitations and limitations of the performance management process of the scientific research projects.

Based on the clarification of the causes of the current situation, we suggest some measures to improve the efficiency of the implementation of science research projects management at VNU University of Science.
