Most of the research works, documents, and articles of the authors are mainly about social security and social protection. The research works are wide-ranging and refer to many objects of assistance. The research results of the works all show the important role of social protection in the current social development situation. However, to delve into a specific aspect of social protection, which is the monthly allowance policy for people with disabilities, no author has yet researched. Second, the thesis contributes to clarifying the theoretical basis of psychology and needs of people with disabilities. Thereby, we can clearly see the importance of the system of legal documents and support policies of our state for people with disabilities, especially the monthly subsidy policy. The results of collecting information, data, and interviewing policy implementers on the situation of receiving monthly subsidy policies for people with disabilities show the extremely important role of monthly subsidy. The role is both a guide, an organizational consultant, a helper, and a resource connector.

In addition, the thesis also contributes to supplementing learning resources and serving as reference materials for social work students on issues related to social assistance policies for people with disabilities in general and monthly social allowance policies for people with disabilities in Me Linh district in particular, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the policy system for beneficiaries.
