Arising from the practical needs of archival work at the National Archives of Laos, the development and modernization of search tools to improve the organization and management of archival documents, and to facilitate faster, more accurate, and more efficient information retrieval for both the archives and readers, has become more urgent than ever in the current period. To address this practical issue scientifically, we need to conduct thorough research. This thesis is one of the efforts aimed at researching and proposing solutions and directions for improving the system of scientific archival document search tools at the National Archives of Laos, with the following specific results:

- The thesis has studied the theoretical basis, principles, requirements, components, and necessary structure of a scientific document retrieval system... on that basis, it has systematically generalized and provided a foundation for proposing solutions to improve the quality and application of information technology in the retrieval system.

- This thesis surveyed the actual situation of organizing, managing, and using archival documents currently preserved at the National Archives of Laos. It focused on researching and generalizing the current state of the search tools applied at the Archives to serve as a basis for researching and proposing solutions to improve the scientific archival document search system at the Archives.

- This thesis has proposed solutions to gradually improve and enhance the quality of the scientific document retrieval system at the National Archives of Laos. Furthermore, the research results will make a positive contribution to archival agencies in general, and the National Archives of Laos in particular, by providing a scientific and comprehensive perspective on the issue of archival document retrieval systems before making any decisions.

11. Practical application:

The research findings of this thesis will serve as a basis for applying them to the development and implementation of a complete system of tools for searching archival documents currently preserved at the National Archives of Laos in the near future.

Stemming from the practical needs in archive works of the Lao National Archives Department, the construction and modernization searching tools is to improve archives management in order to ensure quickly, accurately and efficiently information searching tools of both the host agency and audience has become an urgent demand than ever in the current period. To solve this practical issue in scientific way, we are required to conduct a methodical study. This thesis paper is one of the research effort to propose solutions, oriented to improve the system of scientific method archives at the Lao National Archives Department, as the specific results below:

- The thesis has studied the basis of theoretical, principles, requirements, and structural components of the scientific searching tools system in archives ... and on that systematic, overviewing the background basis for the formulation of solutions to improve quality as well as the application of information technology in system lookup tool.

- Thesis has examined the actual situation of the organization and management of use of archives are housed in the Laos National Archives by focusing and generalize to study the current state of the lookup tools system which applied to the current Department as the basis for the study and proposed solutions of the scientific lookup tools system in archives at the National Archives.

- The proposed solution to gradually improve and enhance the quality of search engine system science at the Department of Archives National Archives of Laos, and the results of this study will contribute positively to general storage organ, the Lao National archives Department in particular to have a view on the lookup tool system scientifically and comprehensively before deciding to proceed.

11. Applicability in Practice:

Results of the thesis will be the basis for application deployment on building system tool searching a complete archives are housed in the National Archives in Laos in the future.
