10. Summary of thesis results:

Currently, there have been many research works, documents, and articles by authors on People with Disabilities. Most of the research works are on a large scale and refer to many social protection objects. The authors' research works also point out the current status of social assistance as well as propose causes and solutions to help the policy implementation work better. However, the above studies all focus on the macro level on a national scale, without mentioning the specific situation of people with disabilities in a district or commune; Therefore, research on the implementation of support policies for people with disabilities at the commune level will be field studies that supplement the research on a national scale, which is very necessary and meaningful in both theory and practice.

Firstly, the thesis contributes to enriching the theoretical basis of people with disabilities. In particular, the thesis deeply studies the situation of receiving social assistance policies in 5 areas of people with disabilities: monthly allowance, health, education, vocational training and employment, entertainment, pointing out the current status of policy implementation, the effectiveness of the policy and the limitations in implementing the policy in the research area.

Second, the thesis contributes to clarifying the psychological needs of people with disabilities and the role of the system of documents related to people with disabilities in 5 areas: monthly allowance, health care, education, vocational training and employment, entertainment. At the same time, the results collected through information collection methods, interviews with policy implementers and beneficiaries show that the important role of policies for people with disabilities is very large. People with disabilities can support themselves and stabilize their lives when they have employment policies based on each individual's strengths. People with disabilities can access education when everyone in society supports people with disabilities and infrastructure, learning facilities... meet the needs of people with disabilities. People with disabilities know their rights and ensure the implementation of their rights when propaganda work is well implemented and all policies of the Party and State reach people with disabilities. People with disabilities can promote their strengths when we know how to analyze the needs and strengths of each individual in the work of caring for and assisting people with disabilities. To do the above issues requires the role of Social Workers to be very important in assisting and connecting resources to people with disabilities.

In addition, the thesis also contributes to supplementing learning resources, serving as reference materials for students and trainees majoring in Social Work on issues related to social assistance policies for People with Disabilities in the fields of monthly allowances, health care, education, vocational training and employment, entertainment. Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of policy implementation and making policies effective and applicable to the lives of People with Disabilities.

10. Summary of the thesis findings:

Nowadays, there are many researches, documents, and articles done by different authors related to People with disabilities. Most of the researches done with a wide scope and mentioning about a variety types of people under social protection. It was also shown in the report the current status of social support work, reasons and solutions to make social support work better. However, most of those researches focus on disabilities in a country – wide level rather focus on certain district/ town; As a result, a research about supporting policy applied to disables at a town level should be a realistic research fulfilling other previous nation – wide researches.

Firstly, this thesis help will enrich the theoretical basis on the Disables. Especially, this thesis will give a deep analysis on the current status of the disables receiving social allowance, including 5 areas: monthly allowance, medical support, education, vocational training & employment, and entertainment. Current status & Results when implementing social support policy at the researched area, as well as drawbacks will be shown in this report also.

Secondly, the thesis will clarify the psychological need of the Disables and roles of document system which regulates regulations on the Disables over 5 areas: monthly allowance, medical support, education, vocational training & employment, and entertainment. Moreover, based on the information collected through different methods, including interviewing policy executor and beneficiaries, it was shown that policies and other related regulations played an important role on the Disables' life. The Disables can only earn his/her own living and manage life give a clear policy on employment and rely on his/her strengths. The Disabled can have education when they get support from everyone in society, and support from suitable educational infrastructure and equipment. The Disables know about their rights and make sure that their rights are honored only when communication is well made, and all policies from our Party and State can come to their knowledge. The Disables can promote their strengths given supporters help to identify strength of each Disable when supporting them. So as to make these above things come into real life, social workers have an important part, not only in supporting but also in attracting support from other parties to help the Disabled.

Besides, this thesis also acts as a reference document to students, learners majoring in social work about topics related to social supporting work, including: monthly allowance, medical support, education, vocational training & employment, and entertainment. From that point, another thesis will help enhance the efficiency in implementing policy and make policy more realistic and actually useful to the Disables in real life.
