10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis studies the marks of folk poetics in To Huu's poetry (through "A Sound of the Guitar" and "Ta and Ta") because To Huu is one of the poets with great influence in modern Vietnamese poetry. To be able to create that, To Huu has inherited the tradition of national poetry, especially folk poetry and folk songs. Therefore, studying the two poetry collections "A Sound of the Guitar" and "Ta and Ta" will help to see the continuity and development of the marks of folk poetics in To Huu's poetry compared to previous poetry collections. After that, it is possible to explain the reasons and point out the continuity, development as well as the changes in the two poetry collections.

The thesis has gone through the process of research and survey to discover the imprints of folk literature poetics in To Huu's poetry expressed through poetic form, structure, language, artistic space and time... Besides, the thesis has compared and contrasted To Huu's poetry with the works of some authors who also bear the imprint of folk literature poetics in their works such as Nguyen Binh, Nguyen Duy to see the similarities and differences.

The thesis serves the teaching process of teachers in high schools when having a general view of the poet as well as the poet's creative process. From there, they can better understand the author's work and convey and orient properly to their students.

The topic has practical significance for teaching Literature in high schools, in the process of researching To Huu's poetic career and the process of learning about folk literature poetics in the works of Vietnamese literary authors.

- The thesis learns about hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies in To Huu's poems (through “A sound of music” and “I and I”), because To Huu is one of poets who have significant influences on modern poetry of Vietnam. To have these achievements, To Huu has succeeded the tradition of national poetry, especially folk poems and national folk-songs. Therefore, through study of two poems “A sound of music” and “I and I”, we can see the continuation and development of hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies in To Huu's poems in comparison with previous poems. And then, we can explain the reasons and show the continuation, development and changes in two poems.

- Through the process of studying and surveying, the thesis discovers hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies in To Huu's poems which show through poetry's style, structure, language, space and art time, and etc. In addition, the thesis compares To Huu's poems with poems, which have lots of hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies, of several authors like Nguyen Binh, Nguyen Duy to realize similarities and differences.

- The thesis serves the teaching process of teachers in secondary schools and high schools, because it has an overview on poet and also creation process of poet. Thus, we can understand more clearly about poems of the author and communicate and guide properly pupils.
