10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis studies the influence of folk literary poetics in To Huu's poetry (through "A Sound of the Lute" and "We and Ourselves") because To Huu is one of the most influential poets in modern Vietnamese poetry. To achieve this, To Huu continued the tradition of national poetry, especially folk poetry and folk songs. Therefore, studying the two poetry collections "A Sound of the Lute" and "We and Ourselves" will help to see the continuity and development of folk literary poetics in To Huu's poetry compared to his previous collections. Subsequently, it will be possible to explain the reasons and clearly identify the continuity, development, and changes in these two collections.

This thesis, through research and investigation, explores the imprints of folk literary poetics in To Huu's poetry, manifested through poetic form, structure, language, artistic space and time... In addition, the thesis compares and contrasts To Huu's poetry with the works of several other authors who also bear strong imprints of folk literary poetics, such as Nguyen Binh and Nguyen Duy, to highlight similarities and differences.

This thesis serves the teaching process of high school teachers by providing an overview of the poet and his creative process. This will enable them to better understand the author's work and to properly guide and educate their students.

11. Practical applications:

This topic has practical significance for teaching Literature in secondary schools, in the process of researching the poetic career of To Huu, and in the process of understanding the poetics of folk literature in the works of Vietnamese literary authors.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

- The thesis learns about hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies in To Huu's poems (through “A sound of music” and “I and I”), because To Huu is one of poets who have significant influences on modern poetry of Vietnam. To have these achievements, To Huu has succeeded the tradition of national poetry, especially folk poems and national folk-songs. Therefore, through study of two poems “A sound of music” and “I and I”, we can see the continuation and development of hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies in To Huu's poems in comparison with previous poems. And then, we can explain the reasons and show the continuation, development and changes in two poems.

- Through the process of studying and surveying, the thesis discovers hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies in To Huu's poems which show through poetry's style, structure, language, space and art time, and etc. In addition, the thesis compares To Huu's poems with poems, which have lots of hallmarks of folk literature's prosodies, of several authors like Nguyen Binh, Nguyen Duy to realize similarities and differences.

- The thesis serves the teaching process of teachers in secondary schools and high schools, because it has an overview on poet and also creation process of poet. Thus, we can understand more clearly about poems of the author and communicate and guide properly pupils.

The thesis has a practical meaning in teaching Literature in secondary schools and high schools, in the process of studying the poetry achievements of To Huu and process of studying the folk literature's prosodies in works of authors in Vietnamese literature.
