This thesis focuses on researching and presenting the following basic results:
In Chapter 1 - Overview of the topic "The Issue of Building New Rural Areas on VTC16 Television Channel," the author focuses on addressing some general theories. Building new rural areas in Vietnam is essentially about building and developing rural areas based on human, cultural, and social factors. Vietnamese culture is agricultural culture, and therefore it will influence the entire development process of Vietnamese rural society. Therefore, to provide a theoretical basis for new rural areas and for communicating about them through television, it is necessary to clearly define the theoretical basis of agricultural culture. From there, the relationship between Vietnamese agricultural culture and Vietnamese media in disseminating information on this issue is analyzed.
Therefore, in Chapter 1, the author introduces several concepts regarding: agricultural culture, new rural development, and television, while also outlining general issues concerning the construction of new rural areas. The author discusses the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on the issue of new rural development, and the need for specialized television coverage of new rural development in Vietnam. Based on the characteristics, features, and inherent strengths of television, the author also points out the effectiveness of television language in communicating about new rural development...
Chapter two of the thesis delves into surveying, analyzing, and evaluating the current state of the New Rural Development program on VTC16 television channel (surveying two programs, "Rural Development in Motion" and "Star of Agriculture," from June 2014 to June 2015). The survey reveals that the New Rural Development program is the main topic reflected on VTC16, with over 13 key programs and nearly 10 news bulletins focusing on the process of rural development.
Along with analyzing the organization of information, the content of the programs, and evaluating the impact of the programs on viewers, the author delves into a survey of two programs, "Rural Development" and "Star of Agriculture," to point out the advantages as well as the limitations of these two programs in communicating about the issue of building new rural areas.
In this chapter, the author also highlights the successes achieved by VTC16 channel in communicating about the issue of building new rural areas. From there, the thesis points out the importance of organizing information about the issue of building new rural areas, as well as how to choose topics to develop information content on this issue in a way that is attractive and relatable to viewers.
Through surveys and analyses of real-world data on viewer needs and feedback on the channel's programs, as well as in-depth interviews with those involved, the thesis identifies many existing problems and limitations. Based on this, the thesis boldly proposes several solutions to improve the quality of the New Rural Development program on VTC16, including solutions related to human resources, equipment, and technical infrastructure; innovation in content and presentation; policy and financial mechanisms; and the network of collaborators.
The greatest achievement for the author of this thesis in conducting research on the issue of building new rural areas on a specialized agricultural and rural television channel is accessing meaningful studies, which provide a basis and foundation for the author to develop a practical program on building new rural areas on the Nhan Dan television channel. In fact, during this research period, the author boldly experimented with producing and broadcasting several specialized programs on the issue of building new rural areas, initially gaining valuable experience in the profession.
11. Practical applications:
With this topic, the thesis has made a significant contribution to supplementing and developing the theoretical framework on the issue of building new rural areas as currently broadcast on television.
The research findings, both theoretical and practical, presented in this thesis will have an impact on press agencies, central and local television stations, and especially on journalists, in reporting on the current issue of rural development.
This thesis also hopes to contribute to improving the skills of those who produce television programs on issues related to farmers, agriculture, and rural areas. It also serves as a source of information for researchers, management agencies, and anyone interested in this topic.
12. Future research directions:
If circumstances permit, this thesis could also open up many avenues for further research in communicating the issue of new rural development on television channels, especially in developing television programs with specific content on this topic.

The thesis focuses on studies and some basic findings are as follows:
In Chapter 1 - Overview of the subject “The Issue of Building New Rural Areas on VTC16 Channel” the author concentrates on dealing with some general theories. Building new Vietnamese rural areas by nature is to build and develop rural society based on the human, cultural and social factors. As the Vietnamese culture is an agricultural culture, it will govern the entire development process of the Vietnamese rural culture. In order to provide theoretical bases of new rural areas, or new rural area communication process through the television language, the theoretical bases of culture and rural culture should therefore clearly defined, from there to analyze the relationship between the agricultural culture and communication in newspapers and magazines of Vietnam when propagating about this issue. And also for that reason, in Chapter 1, the author provides some concepts of: Agricultural culture, New rural area, television; as well as the general issues of building new rural areas, the points of view, policies of our Party and State on building new rural areas; the need for television in a specific way about the issue of building new rural areas in Vietnam. From the specific features as well as the nature and advantages of television, the author emphasizes the effect of the television language when communicating about the issue of building new rural areas…
In Chapter 2, the thesis deeply surveys, analyzes and assesses the actual status of the Issue of Building New Rural Areas on VTC16 Channel (Surveying two programs "Rural Movement" and "Emperor Shennong Star" from June 2014 - June 2015). The survey indicates that building new rural areas is the new content represented on VTC16 channel with 13 main columns and about news-bulletins with the main contents reflecting the process of building new rural areas. Along with analyzing the way of organizing information, program contents and assessing the impact of the programs on the audiences, the author surveys deeply the two programs "Rural Movement" and "Emperor Shennong Star" to highlight strengths as well as weaknesses of these two programs when communicating about the issue of building new rural areas
In this chapter, the author draws out the successes and limitations of VTC16 channel when communicating about the issue of building new rural areas, from there to underline the importance of organizing information about when communicating about the issue of building new rural areas and how to select the subject to implement the information contents about this issue so as to be interesting and close to the audiences.
Through surveying, analyzing practical data related to audience needs, audience feedback on VTC16 programs and in-depth interviews with executors of the two surveyed programs such as production organizers, directors, reporters, editors, cameramen, MCs, etc. numerous limitations, limitations have been revealed by the thesis. From that the thesis ventures to propose some solutions to in prison the quality of the Issue of Building New Rural Areas on VTC16 Channel, such as solutions related to the factors of human, means, material and technical facilities; factors of change in content and form of representation, of policies, finance; factor of assistance network, etc.
The greatest finding the author has achieved when implementing the Issue of Building New Rural Areas, a specific subject on agriculture and rural areas, was the access to the significant studies which have helped create bases, premise for the author to make columns, programs about building new rural areas on the People's Television Channel in a practical and effective manner. And as a matter of fact, during this studying time, the author did venture to make several programs for broadcasting on the issue of building new rural areas such as Building New Rural Areas in the Experience of Vinh Phuc, The Lesson from Land Consolidation in Nam Dinh… from there to initially learn about the valuable experiences in the profession.
11. Practical applicability:
With this subject, the thesis is of great importance in complementing and developing the theoretical system of building new urban areas on the television at present.
The findings of the studies based on the theory and practice of the thesis will exert influence on the Central and local press agencies, television stations, and particularly, reporters, journalists when making specialized columns or realizing reportages about building new rural areas. This always serves as a source of information for researchers, management bodies and those who are interested in this issue.

If conditions permit, from this thesis, there will be numerous television directions open for further studies of making programs on building new urban areas.
