10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis has mentioned the bilateral relationship in the field of education between Vietnam and Japan in the period of 2002 - 2018 in terms of policies, policy implementation status and educational development status at all levels: Government, ministries, educational institutions (schools, centers, institutes, ...), corporations, companies, .... through updating and synthesizing related information. In addition, by referring to endogenous and exogenous factors combined with the educational policies of the two countries, the study has analyzed and evaluated the educational cooperation process between the two countries as well as made predictions through system analysis with three levels (international system, internal politics and individual leaders). Thereby, it can be seen that the relationship between Vietnam and Japan is gradually developing, the later stage inherits and promotes the results of the previous stage, achieving many outstanding achievements in all fields and at all levels. In the future, Japan and Vietnam will continue to “hold hands” to build, strengthen and develop a more comprehensive relationship in the field of education as well as in foreign relations, meeting the wishes and interests of the people of the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development of the Asia-Pacific region.

However, besides the resounding successes, Vietnam and Japan also face a number of problems, especially from Vietnam such as the situation of students working part-time or unintentional labor migration. Therefore, Vietnam needs to have proper attention and innovations in academics, curriculum, facilities, educational cooperation mechanisms, etc. Only then can the problems in education and educational cooperation be overcome and resolved thoroughly. The educational cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Japan in particular and with other countries in the world in general will bring more benefits to the development of our country as well as to the future of the world and the region in the era of globalization.
